Our School Development Priorities

Each year we identify areas within the school that need to be developed, these are worked on through the curriculum and throughout the school day. We then evaluate how we have done before setting our priorities for the following year.

These are our School Development Priorities for 2025-2026

• Priority 1 – To ensure that our curriculum and wider support is inclusive and adapts to the needs of all learners and their families.

• Priority 2 – To develop and embed new initiatives across the wider curriculum (oracy, new curriculum development/changes, AI tools and Ped. Tech)
• Priority 3 – To ensure reading and writing outcomes for focus pupils are strong and to sustain a strong reading for pleasure culture across the school community.
• Priority 4 – To build on the attendance in previous academic years and continue to build a culture of attending school regularly.
• Priority 5 - To ensure a successful transition within the middle and senior leadership team, which provides stability to the school community.
