Our School Development Priorities

Each year we identify areas within the school that need to be developed, these are worked on through the curriculum and throughout the school day. We then evaluate how we have done before setting our priorities for the following year.

These are our School Development Priorities for 2026-2027

• Priority 1 – To continue to ensure that our curriculum and wider support (including outside of the classroom) is inclusive and adapts to the needs of all learners and their families. 

•  

  Priority 2 – To embed a strong culture of attendance through high expectations, early intervention, and family partnerships to improve attendance and reduce persistent absence.
• Priority 3 – To fully embed the revised writing curriculum across KS1 and KS2, ensuring consistent implementation, high-quality teaching and improved writing outcomes for all pupils.
• Priority 4 – Improve KS2 outcomes in reading and mathematics through consistently high-quality teaching, effective assessment and targeted support across the school.
• Priority 5 - To provide staff with high quality mentoring/ coaching enabling them to be successful in their post.
